At Pod & Roast, we believe your daily coffee shouldn't be a compromise between speed and quality. That's why we built Rich Hazelnut — a medium roast blend that brings café-level flavor to your single-serve brewer, no grinding, no waiting, no shortcuts on taste.

Our beans are sourced from Brazil and Mexico — Brazilian Catuaí, Catucaí, and Mundo Novo varietals for a classic, rich coffee base, balanced with Mexican Bourbon and Typica varietals for brightness and sweetness. The result is a cup with real depth: chocolate-covered hazelnut, warm maple syrup, and a hint of citrus — roasted right here in the USA.

Pod & Roast started with a simple, everyday frustration: mornings that moved too fast for a "proper" cup of coffee. Between getting ready, getting the kids out the door, or just getting to a 9 AM call on time, brewing a full pot always seemed to lose out to convenience — and convenience usually meant weak, forgettable coffee.

We didn't think that trade-off should exist. So we set out to find a single-serve coffee that didn't taste like a compromise — something you'd actually look forward to, not just get through. After a lot of cups (and a lot of opinions from friends and family who became our unofficial taste-testers), Rich Hazelnut became the one we kept coming back to: rich, a little indulgent, and just interesting enough to make an ordinary morning feel a bit better.
